Ko Rangi e tū nei

Ko Papa e takoto nei

Heke mai, heke mai ko te ira tangata

Ka puta ki te whai ao ki te ao mārama

Tihei mauri ora!

Rapua te reo kia puta is a student driven initiative supported by the Centre for Indigenous Psychologies (CIP).

This site is driven by student voices but aims to be inclusive of an array of indigenous perspectives and authors. We feel privileged to have the support of the CIP and to include pieces written by academic staff.

The idea behind Rapua te reo kia puta is to seek out and allow our inner voices to emerge. It is a place to provide insight into different topics from an indigenous psychologies framework or approach. Perspectives that are not always afforded a place in conversation.

Guided by the principles of Aroha, Manaakitanga and Whakamana. Each piece is written with the intention of being respectful, inclusive and empowering of indigenous psychological perspectives/approaches.
